Biography
Roger Cross is a Jamaican-Canadian actor. He was born on 19 October 1969 in Christiana, Jamaica, and moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, with his family at the age of eleven. He graduated from Trinity Western University in Langley with a degree in Aviation and General Studies.
Cross began his career in the 1990s with guest roles in series including The X-Files and Stargate SG-1, and a lead role as Joshua Bridges in First Wave (1998–2001). He gained wider recognition for playing CTU Agent Curtis Manning in 24 (2005–2007). Other notable television roles include Travis Verta in Continuum (2012–2015), Six in Dark Matter (2015–2017), and Detective Donovan McAvoy in Coroner (2019–2022). Film credits include X2 (2003), The Chronicles of Riddick (2004), and War for the Planet of the Apes (2017). He appears as Cross in TRON: Ares (2025).
