Biography

Roger Sloman is an English actor born on 19 May 1946 in Harlesden, London. He trained as a teacher before attending East 15 Acting School from 1967 to 1970. He began his career in repertory theatre at the Everyman Theatre in Liverpool and worked in Nottingham, Birmingham and Sheffield, later touring with the 7:84 theatre company and the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Sloman is known for his role as Keith in the 1976 BBC Play for Today Nuts in May. His television credits include Three-Fingered Pete in The Black Adder (1983), appearances in The Young Ones (1982) and Mr. Bean (1990), Les Coker in EastEnders, and Mr. Todd in the 2009 series Small Island. Film roles include Vladimir I. Lenin in Reds (1981). He has also performed at the National Theatre.
