Biography

Ron Rifkin is an American actor born in New York City. He has appeared in numerous films and television series, with early credits including roles in JFK (1991) and Husbands and Wives (1992).

Rifkin is best known for his performances as Arvin Sloane in the series Alias (2001–2006) and Saul Holden in Brothers & Sisters (2006–2011). His film work includes L.A. Confidential (1997), in which he played District Attorney Ellis Loew, as well as The Negotiator (1998), The Sum of All Fears (2002) and A Star Is Born (2018).

A stage actor by training, Rifkin won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of Herr Schultz in the 1998 Broadway revival of Cabaret.
