Biography
Ronald Vidor, also credited as Ron Vidor, is an American cinematographer and camera operator. He has worked extensively in film and television since the 1960s, with credits in camera and electrical departments on numerous features and series.
Vidor served as 'A' camera operator and Steadicam operator on the pilot and first season of the series ER (1994), for which he received uncredited credit on multiple episodes and a credited cinematography role on one episode. His other credits include underwater camera work on Jaws (1975), first assistant camera on Westworld (1973) and The Andromeda Strain (1971), and Steadicam operation on Grease 2 (1982). He has also worked as director of photography on smaller productions including Crossfire (1998) and The Secret Life: Jeffrey Dahmer (1993).
