Biography

Roy Rossotti (1932–2008) was a British director and assistant director whose credits include work in film and television. He began his career in the art department on feature films in the early 1960s, serving as assistant art director on Lawrence of Arabia (1962) and set dresser on The World of Suzie Wong (1960).

He later worked as second unit director on David Lean's Doctor Zhivago (1965). Rossotti directed one episode of the television series The Avengers (1961) in 1967. He was married to model Jill Kennington from 1966 until his death in Epsom, Surrey, on 19 May 2008.
