Biography
Ryan Chan is a film and television editor. He has worked in post-production for over twenty years, beginning in assistant and associate roles on feature films before taking lead editing credits.
His early credits include assistant editor on Eight Legged Freaks (2002) and The Polar Express (2004), and associate editor on several Robert Zemeckis films including Flight (2012), Allied (2016) and 12 Strong (2018). He served as editor on Roald Dahl's The Witches (2020) alongside Jeremiah O'Driscoll, and on the Netflix series Lost Ollie (2022), for which he received a Children's & Family Emmy Award for Outstanding Editing.
Chan has continued to edit Zemeckis projects, including additional editor on Here (2024), and worked on the Netflix series The Brothers Sun (2024).
