Biography
Sara Powell is a British actress and audiobook narrator. Born on 23 June 1968 in Jamaica, she trained at Birmingham University and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
Her early regular television roles include Sally Reid in the ITV series London's Burning (1993–1994) and Rachel Barker in the BBC drama HolbyBlue (2007–2008). She later appeared as Cass in the Channel 4 sitcom Damned (2016–2018). Powell has played guest roles in series including Doctor Who (as Mary Seacole, 2021), Silent Witness, Midsomer Murders, Death in Paradise and Ghosts.
