Biography
Sarah Burns is an American actress and comedian. Born on Long Island, New York, she has performed improvisational comedy regularly at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York City.
She is known for playing Krista Jacobs in the HBO series Enlightened (2011–2013). Her film roles include Hailey in I Love You, Man (2009), Harper in Going the Distance (2010), Janine Groff in Life as We Know It (2010) and Anne in Slow Learners (2015). Television appearances include Emily Sinclair in How to Get Away with Murder (2014), Gabrielle in Big Little Lies (2017) and Detective Mae Dunn in Barry (2018–2023). She was a series regular in the second season of Married (2015) and appeared in Drunk History.
