Biography
Sarah Fain is an American television writer and producer. She frequently works in partnership with Elizabeth Craft, whom she met in high school in Kansas City, Missouri. Fain attended Williams College.
Fain and Craft began writing for television in the early 2000s. They contributed episodes to Angel (2002–2004) and joined the staff of The Shield (2002) as writers and producers, rising to supervising producers. Their other credits include Women's Murder Club (which they created), Dollhouse, Lie to Me, The Vampire Diaries, The 100, 666 Park Avenue, The Fix (which they co-created) and the 2021 reboot of Fantasy Island (on which they served as showrunners). They have also written two young adult novels together.
