Biography

Leslie Libman is an American television director. She began her career directing commercials and music videos, often in partnership with her late husband Larry Williams.

Since the mid-1990s she has directed episodes of numerous series, including multiple instalments of Homicide: Life on the Street, The 4400 and NCIS. Her other credits include The Wire (2004), Oz, The Shield, The Vampire Diaries (2009), The Originals (2013), Chicago Fire (2012), The Rookie (2018), Designated Survivor (2016) and Chucky (2021).

With Williams she co-directed the television films Path to Paradise: The Untold Story of the World Trade Center Bombing (1997) and Brave New World (1998), and created a series of short films for MTV.
