Biography
Sarah Heyward is an American television writer and producer. Born on 28 June 1984 in Los Angeles, she is the daughter of former CBS News president Andrew Heyward. She graduated from Harvard College and received an MFA from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
Heyward began her screenwriting career on the HBO series Girls (2012–2017), where she contributed as a writer and later as a producer. Her other credits include writing for SKAM Austin (2018), Modern Love (2021) and Nobody Wants This (2024–), on which she also serves as co-executive producer. She has received Emmy and Writers Guild of America award nominations.
