Biography
Bruce Eric Kaplan is an American writer, producer and cartoonist. He has written episodes of Seinfeld (1997–1998), Six Feet Under (2001–2005), Girls (2012–2016) and Nobody Wants This (2024–), and served as executive producer or co-executive producer on several of these series. He is a longtime contributor of single-panel cartoons to The New Yorker, with work appearing since 1991.
Kaplan graduated from Wesleyan University. He has also written and illustrated several books of cartoons and children’s stories. He is married to writer Kate Robin.
