Biography
Sarah Knowles is a production designer and art director. She began her career in the late 1980s as a set decorator and art department assistant, progressing to art director on films including Gattaca (1997) and Catch Me If You Can (2002).
Knowles has served as production designer on The Notebook (2004), Dan in Real Life (2007), Fatherhood (2021) and the series You (2018). She has received one Primetime Emmy Award among two wins and four nominations overall. Her father is the architect Edward F. Knowles.
