Biography
Scott Nimerfro (12 July 1961 – 17 April 2016) was an American television writer and producer. He began his career as a production assistant on the 1987 film Planes, Trains and Automobiles and later wrote and produced episodes of the HBO series Tales from the Crypt in the early 1990s.
Nimerfro wrote two episodes of the series Pushing Daisies (2007–2009) and served as co-producer and producer on the show. He received a Writers Guild of America nomination in 2008 for his work on the series. He also wrote for Hannibal (2013–2015), Once Upon a Time (2011–2018), Ringer (2011–2012), The Gates (2010) and earlier series including Star Trek: Voyager (1995–2001) and Stargate Atlantis (2004–2009).
Nimerfro served as associate producer on the 2000 film X-Men. He died in Minnesota aged 54.
