Biography
Scott Stephens is an American television producer. He served as producer and later supervising producer on the HBO series Deadwood (2004–2006), and as executive producer on True Detective (2014–2019) and Deadwood: The Movie (2019). He has also held producing or executive producing roles on Hung (2009–2011), Enlightened (2011), Westworld (2016) and Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty (2022).
Stephens began his career in production management, working as unit production manager (credited as S.A. Stephens) on early episodes of Deadwood and other series. He has received Emmy nominations for his work on Deadwood.
