Biography
Shane McRae is an American actor. Born on 23 July 1977 in Gainesville, Florida, he grew up in Starkville, Mississippi. He earned a BFA from the University of Evansville and an MFA from New York University in 2003.
McRae began his career in theatre, appearing in the Broadway production of Take Me Out and in Richard III at the Public Theater. On screen he has played Knox in the Apple TV+ series Silo (2023–), Taylor Bowman in Sneaky Pete (2015–2019), and supporting roles in films including The Help (2011) and Still Alice (2014). Other television credits include Chicago Fire, The Following, Alaska Daily and Paradise Lost.
