Biography
Shay Cunliffe is a British costume designer. Born in Manchester, she trained at the University of Bristol and began her career in New York theatre before moving into film.
Her early feature credits include Mrs. Soffel (1984), Of Mice and Men (1992), Lone Star (1996) and A Civil Action (1998). She has designed costumes for The Bourne Ultimatum (2007), 2012 (2009), We're the Millers (2013), the Fifty Shades films (2017–2018) and Peacemaker (2022).
Cunliffe received Emmy nominations for her work on the television film Annie (1999) and an episode of Westworld (2020), and has won Costume Designers Guild Awards.
