Biography
Si Litvinoff was an American film producer and lawyer. Born in New York on 5 April 1929, he received a law degree from New York University in 1954 and practised as a lawyer in New York City for twelve years, representing clients including Andy Warhol, Rip Torn, Bea Arthur and Alan Arkin.
He produced the documentary The Queen (1968), the drama All the Right Noises (1970) and Walkabout (1971), directed by Nicolas Roeg. Litvinoff served as executive producer on Stanley Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange (1971) and Roeg’s The Man Who Fell to Earth (1976). He was a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Litvinoff died in Los Angeles on 26 December 2022, aged 93.
