Biography
Steph Green is an American film and television director, screenwriter and executive producer. She studied in Ireland and began her career assisting director Spike Jonze on commercials. Her short film New Boy (2007), which she wrote and directed, received an Academy Award nomination for Best Live Action Short Film in 2009. She directed and co-wrote the feature Run & Jump (2013).
Green has directed episodes of television series including The Americans (2016–2017), Scandal (2016–2017), Billions (2017), Bates Motel (2017), Preacher (2017), Watchmen (2019), The Book of Boba Fett (2022) and Ahsoka (2023). Her work on the Watchmen episode 'Little Fear of Lightning' earned a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Directing for a Limited Series in 2020. She has also served as executive producer and director on series such as Dare Me, The L Word: Generation Q and Duster.
