Biography
Stephen Falk (born 25 April 1972) is an American screenwriter, television producer and director. He graduated from New York University with a BFA in acting.
Falk wrote for and served as co-executive producer on the Showtime series Weeds (2005–2012). He received a Writers Guild of America nomination for episodic comedy for the 2012 episode "Object Impermanence". He later worked as a writer and co-executive producer on the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black (2013–2019), earning further WGA and Primetime Emmy nominations.
Falk is best known as the creator, executive producer and showrunner of the FXX series You're the Worst (2014–2019). His other credits include writing and executive producing on Hello Tomorrow! (2023) and directing episodes of Teenage Bounty Hunters (2020).
