Biography
Steve Tompkins is an American television writer and producer. He graduated from Harvard University in 1988, where he wrote for the Harvard Lampoon.
He worked on The Simpsons during its seventh and eighth seasons as a writer, supervising producer and co-executive producer. His writing contributions include the episode "A Milhouse Divided" and segments in "Treehouse of Horror VI" and "The Simpsons Spin-Off Showcase". He later co-created the animated series The PJs with Larry Wilmore and Eddie Murphy. Other credits include writing and producing for The Critic, In Living Color, The Bernie Mac Show, Two and a Half Men and The Ranch. He received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program for his work on The Simpsons and served as executive producer on Fanboy & Chum Chum, also voicing a character.
