Biography
Steven Baum (5 November 1951 – 7 February 2018) was an American television writer and producer. He contributed the teleplay for the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode 'Melora' (1993).
Baum wrote extensively for series including The Young Riders (1989–1992), for which he also served as producer and story editor; In the Heat of the Night (1989–1990); Lonesome Dove: The Series (1994–1996); Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (1996); Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman (1996); The Sentinel (1996); Silk Stalkings (1994); and The Adventures of Sinbad (1997). He began his career writing for shows such as Rags to Riches.
