Biography
Steven-Charles Jaffe is an American film producer, director and screenwriter. He is the son of producer Herb Jaffe and has a brother, Robert Jaffe, who has also worked in film.
Jaffe has collaborated extensively with directors Nicholas Meyer and Kathryn Bigelow. His credits include associate producer and second unit director on Time After Time (1979), producer and second unit director on Near Dark (1987) and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991), producer on Motel Hell (1980) and The Fly II (1989), and executive producer on Ghost (1990). He also produced Strange Days (1995) and served as co-producer on K-19: The Widowmaker (2002).
Jaffe is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
