Biography
Steven Robertson is a Scottish actor. He grew up in Vidlin in the Shetland Islands and studied at Fife College in Kirkcaldy before training at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, where he was the first Shetlander to be accepted.
He is best known for playing DC Sandy Wilson in the BBC crime drama series Shetland since its debut in 2013. Other television roles include Dominic Rook in Being Human (2012–2013), appearances in Luther (2010) and Doctor Who (2015), and film parts such as Stoddart in T2 Trainspotting (2017), an Angelic Priest in Kingdom of Heaven (2005) and a lead role in Inside I'm Dancing (2004). In 2004 he received an Ian Charleson Award nomination for his stage work.
