Biography
Steven Weisberg (1955–2023) was an American film editor. Born in New York City, he studied at Syracuse University and Binghamton University. He began his career in the 1980s as an associate editor and received his first full editing credits in the early 1990s.
Weisberg collaborated frequently with directors Alfonso Cuarón and Barry Sonnenfeld. His credits include A Little Princess (1995), Great Expectations (1998), The Cable Guy (1996), Men in Black II (2002), Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004), The Producers (2005), Morning Glory (2010) and Hope Springs (2012). He was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease in 2010 and retired from editing in 2012.
