Biography
Susan Misner is an American actress and dancer. Born on 8 February 1971 in Paterson, New Jersey, she began her career as a dancer on Broadway, appearing in productions including Guys and Dolls, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Dream.
She transitioned to acting in the late 1990s, with an early role as Grace Davidson on the soap opera One Life to Live (1999). Misner appeared in the film Chicago (2002) as Liz. She has had recurring and guest roles on numerous television series, including Gossip Girl, Person of Interest, The Good Wife and Nashville. From 2013 she portrayed Sandra Beeman on The Americans, appearing as a main cast member for two seasons and in a recurring capacity for two further seasons. Subsequent work includes the lead role of Dr Nora White on Shut Eye (2016–2017) and recurring parts on Billions and Jack Ryan.
