Biography
Sydney Lemmon is an American actress. Born in Los Angeles on 10 August 1990, she was raised in Glastonbury, Connecticut. She earned a BFA from Boston University in 2012 and an MFA from the Yale School of Drama in 2017, where she received the Julie Harris Scholarship. She also trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
She made her Broadway debut in The Parisian Woman (2018) and gained acclaim for her leading role in Job (2023 off-Broadway; 2024 Broadway). Her screen credits include recurring roles in Fear the Walking Dead (2019–2021) and Succession (2019–2023), as well as appearances in Velvet Buzzsaw (2019), Tár (2022), Firestarter (2022) and The Drama (2026) as Pauline. She is the daughter of actor Chris Lemmon and granddaughter of Jack Lemmon. Lemmon is also a singer and guitarist who writes music with her brother, actor Jon Lemmon.
