Biography
Talbot Jennings was an American playwright and screenwriter. He was born in Shoshone, Idaho, and studied at the University of Idaho, Harvard University and the Yale School of Drama.
Jennings received Academy Award nominations for his screenplays for Mutiny on the Bounty (1935) and Anna and the King of Siam (1946). His other credits include Romeo and Juliet (1936), The Good Earth (1937), Northwest Passage (1940), Knights of the Round Table (1953) and the story for The Sons of Katie Elder (1965). He died in East Glacier Park, Montana, in 1985.
