Biography
Ted McGinley is an American actor. Born on 30 May 1958 in Newport Beach, California, he began his career after being spotted as a model in GQ magazine, which led to his role as Roger Phillips on the sitcom Happy Days from 1980 to 1984.
He is known for playing Jefferson D'Arcy on Married... with Children (1987–1997), Charley Shanowski on Hope & Faith (2003–2006), and for recurring appearances on The Love Boat and Dynasty. He also played Stan Gable in Revenge of the Nerds (1984) and its sequels, and appeared in films including Wayne's World 2 (1993) and Pearl Harbor (2001).
Since 2023, McGinley has played Derek on the Apple TV+ series Shrinking. He has been married to actress Gigi Rice since 1991.
