Biography
Ted Wass is an American television director and former actor. Born Edward Wass on 27 October 1952 in Lakewood, Ohio, he trained at the Goodman School of Drama at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
He began his career as an actor, appearing in the Broadway production of Grease and in the series Soap (1977–1981) and Blossom (1991–1995). While working on Blossom, Wass started directing and subsequently focused on that role, helming episodes of numerous sitcoms.
His directing credits include Spin City (1996), The Big Bang Theory (2007), Two and a Half Men (2003), Rules of Engagement (2007), 2 Broke Girls (2011) and Mom (2013).
