Biography

Theodor Loos was a German actor. He appeared on stage from 1912 to 1945 and performed in more than 170 feature films from 1913 onwards, beginning with silent films.

He is known for roles including Josaphat in Metropolis (1927) and Inspector Groeber in M (1931), both directed by Fritz Lang, as well as King Gunther in Die Nibelungen: Siegfried (1924) and Die Nibelungen: Kriemhild's Revenge (1924). During the Third Reich he was a member of the Advisory Council of the president of the Reichsfilmkammer. After the war he returned to the theatre.
