Biography
Thomas L. Moran is an American television writer and producer. He began his career as a freelance writer and story editor on the CBS legal drama Family Law (1999–2002), later serving as co-producer. He subsequently worked as a writer and producer on Hack (2002–2003), JAG (2003–2004) and NCIS (2004).
Moran joined House (2004) as supervising producer after the pilot and rose to co-executive and executive producer. He wrote or co-wrote numerous episodes, including several with story or teleplay credits. He received Emmy nominations for Outstanding Drama Series for his producing work on the show in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. He later contributed as writer and executive producer on Battle Creek (2015), Conviction (2016) and The Good Doctor (2017–2024).
