Biography
Tim Kirkby is a British film and television director. He was born on 13 November 1970 in Sidcup, Kent, England.
Kirkby made his television directorial debut with the science parody series Look Around You (2002–2005). He directed all four series of Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle (2009–2016) and the pilot episode of Fleabag (2016). Other British credits include the first season of My Mad Fat Diary (2013) and the single drama The C Word (2015).
In the United States, Kirkby directed episodes of Veep (2013–2014), Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2015), Grace and Frankie (2015) and Man Seeking Woman (2015). He created and directed the IFC series Brockmire (2017–2018) and the Netflix series The Pentaverate (2022). His feature films include Action Point (2018) and Last Looks (2021).
