Biography
Tim Mertens is a film editor who has worked primarily on Walt Disney Animation Studios productions.
He began his career in sound editing on television series such as Darkwing Duck and Rocko's Modern Life. Mertens joined Disney Feature Animation as first assistant editor on Pocahontas (1995). He later served as editor on Brother Bear (2003), Bolt (2008), Tangled (2010), Wreck-It Ralph (2012) and Big Hero 6 (2014), and has contributed additional editing to subsequent features including Zootopia (2016) and Raya and the Last Dragon (2021).
