Biography

Titus Welliver is an American actor. He was born on 12 March 1962 in New Haven, Connecticut, and studied drama at New York University.

Welliver is known for television roles including the Man in Black in Lost (2004–2010), Silas Adams in Deadwood (2004–2006), Jimmy O'Phelan in Sons of Anarchy (2009–2010) and the title character in Bosch (2014–2021) and Bosch: Legacy (2022–2025). Film appearances include Lionel McCready in Gone Baby Gone (2007), Dino Ciampa in The Town (2010), Jon Bates in Argo (2012) and James Savoy in Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014). He has appeared in several films directed by Ben Affleck.

He is also a painter. His father was the landscape painter Neil Welliver.
