Biography
Toby Williams is a British actor, writer and stand-up comedian who performs both as himself and as Dr George Ryegold.
He has appeared in numerous television series and films, including as Tim in Sex Education (2019–2020), Hicks in Vanity Fair (2018), Terry Grimm in Porters, Mike Fowler in The Mallorca Files (2019), Bobby in High-Rise (2015) and the Geographer in Paddington (2014). He played Tom in the series Dreaming Whilst Black (2023).
Williams has received awards for his comedy, including Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival, and a Webby Award in 2025 for the short film Wet Fish, which he co-wrote and performed in.
