Biography
Tom Cullen is a Welsh actor. Born in Aberystwyth, he trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, graduating in 2009 with a first-class honours degree in acting.
He is known for his leading role as Russell in the 2011 film Weekend, for which he won the British Independent Film Award for Most Promising Newcomer. Other credits include Anthony Gillingham in Downton Abbey (2013–2014), Landry de Lauzon in Knightfall (2017–2019), John Palmer in The Gold (2023–2025) and Michael Agnew in Trespasses (2025). He has also appeared in House of the Dragon (2022) and Black Mirror (2011).
