Biography
Toru Nakahara is a Japanese film producer. He has worked extensively with Sega on adaptations of its video game properties, serving as a key liaison between the company and film studios.
He produced the live-action Sonic the Hedgehog (2020) and its sequels Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022) and Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (2024). Nakahara has also acted as executive producer on the animated series Sonic Prime (2022–2023) and Knuckles (2024).
Born on 26 April 1970 in Yokohama, he is additionally qualified as a lawyer.
