Biography
Tovah Feldshuh is an American actress, singer and playwright. Born Terri Sue Feldshuh in New York City on 27 December 1948, she graduated from Sarah Lawrence College and made her Broadway debut in the 1973 musical Cyrano.
She received four Tony Award nominations for her stage work, including roles in Yentl (1976) and Golda's Balcony (2003–2005), the latter the longest-running one-woman play in Broadway history. On screen she is known for recurring roles as Danielle Melnick in Law & Order (from 1990) and Deanna Monroe in The Walking Dead (2015–2016), and appearances in films including Kissing Jessica Stein (2001), She's Funny That Way (2015) and Clifford the Big Red Dog (2021).
Recent credits include Bina Roklov in the series Nobody Wants This (2024) and Marla in the film Tuner (2026). She has received two Emmy Award nominations.
