Biography
Uwe Schott is a German film and television producer. Born in 1966 in Düsseldorf, he has worked in the industry since the mid-1990s, initially as a production manager before producing feature films and series.
He co-founded Sperl + Schott Film and joined X Filme Creative Pool in 2009, later becoming chairman of its management board. Schott has produced or served as executive producer on titles including Cloud Atlas (2012), Amour (2012), Brimstone (2016), A Hologram for the King (2016), Frantz (2016), TÁR (2022) and the series Babylon Berlin (2017–).
His credits also include Isi & Ossi (2020), The Dark Valley (2014) and Alone in Berlin (2016).
