Biography
Valentina L. Garza is an American screenwriter and television producer. A native of Los Angeles, she studied comparative literature at the University of California, Berkeley. She began her career as a writers' assistant on the Telemundo sitcom Los Beltrán, where she wrote her first episode, and later joined the Warner Bros. Television Writers Workshop.
Garza wrote for The Simpsons for six seasons, contributing episodes including 'Four Great Women and a Manicure', which received an Annie Award nomination, and 'Opposites A-Frack', which won an Environmental Media Award. She went on to work as a writer and co-executive producer on Jane the Virgin, serving as consulting producer on Only Murders in the Building and as executive producer and showrunner on XO, Kitty. She wrote an episode of Wednesday Season 2 and served as co-executive producer on the series.
