Biography
Vince Pope is a British composer. He grew up in North London and read mathematics at University College London before pursuing a career in music. He began by working on advertising campaigns and later moved into scoring for television and film.
Pope is known for his work on the series Black Mirror (2011), Misfits (2009–2013), True Detective (2014 and 2024) and No Offence (2015–2018). His score for the second series of Misfits earned a BAFTA nomination for Best Original Television Music and an RTS Award for Best Original Score. He has also composed for films including Tigers Are Not Afraid (2017) and Goodbye Berlin (2016), as well as the series Undercover and Wallander.
