Biography
Virginie Besson-Silla, also credited as Virginie Silla or Virginie Besson-Silla, is a Canadian-French film producer. Born in Ottawa in 1972, she began her career in France in the 1990s and has worked extensively with EuropaCorp.
She has produced numerous films directed by Luc Besson, to whom she has been married since 2004. Her credits include Lucy (2014), Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017), Dogman (2023), June and John (2025) and Dracula (2025). She also served as producer for the Paris pickup crew on Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022).
She is the sister of actress and author Karine Silla and sister-in-law of actor Vincent Perez.
