Biography
Virginie Efira is a Belgian-French actress. She began her career as a television presenter in Belgium before moving into acting in France.
Efira received her first leading film role in the romantic comedy It Boy (2013). She gained critical recognition for her performance in the comedy-drama In Bed with Victoria (2016), for which she won a Magritte Award for Best Actress and received a César Award nomination. That year she also appeared in Paul Verhoeven's thriller Elle (2016).
Her subsequent roles include Sibyl (2019), Bye Bye Morons (2020) and Benedetta (2021). In 2023 she won the César Award for Best Actress for Paris Memories (2022).
