Biography
W. Stewart Campbell (1933–2009) was an American production designer and art director. He worked in film and television from the mid-1970s until the mid-2000s.
Campbell received Academy Award nominations for Best Art Direction for Chinatown (1974), Shampoo (1975) and The Right Stuff (1983). His other art direction credits include Jaws 2 (1978), Urban Cowboy (1980), True Confessions (1981) and Birdy (1984). He served as production designer on Mac and Me (1988).
