Biography

Waldemar Kalinowski is a production designer. Born in Austria and raised in Warsaw, Poland, he studied physics and mathematics at the University of Warsaw.

His credits include five films directed by Mike Figgis: Internal Affairs (1990), Mr. Jones (1993), Leaving Las Vegas (1995), One Night Stand (1997) and Liebestraum (1991). Other notable work encompasses Powder (1995), Stigmata (1999), The Fast and the Furious (2001), Appaloosa (2008), Crazy Heart (2009) and Black '47 (2018). He has also acted in several films, including Leaving Las Vegas.

Since 1984 he has frequently collaborated with his wife, art historian and set decorator Florence Fellman.
