Biography
Walt Flanagan is an American actor, comic book artist and podcaster. He is a longtime friend of filmmaker Kevin Smith and appeared in multiple films in the View Askewniverse.
Flanagan is best known for playing four roles in Clerks (1994): the Woolen Cap Smoker, the Egg Man, the Offended Customer and the Cat-Admiring Bitter Customer. He later played Fan Boy (Walt Grover) in Mallrats (1995), a protestor in Dogma (1999), and small parts in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001), Clerks II (2006), Jay and Silent Bob Reboot (2019) and Clerks III (2022).
Outside acting, Flanagan managed Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash comic-book store in Red Bank, New Jersey, co-starred in the AMC reality series Comic Book Men (2012–2018) and co-hosts the podcast Tell 'Em Steve-Dave! with Bryan Johnson and Brian Quinn. He has also contributed artwork to comic books written by Smith and Johnson.
