Biography
Wendy Phillips is an American actress born on 2 January 1952 in Brooklyn, New York. Her father, Wendell K. Phillips, was an actor, and her mother, Jean Shelton, was also an actress.
She made her screen debut in the 1975 television film Death Be Not Proud. Phillips has appeared in films including Midnight Run (1988), Bugsy (1991) as Esta Siegel, and I Am Sam (2001). On television, she has had regular roles in series such as Falcon Crest (1989–1990), Homefront (1991–1993) and Promised Land (1996–1999), and guest roles in The Mentalist, Bones and Shameless.
Phillips has been married to actor Scott Paulin since 1981 and they have one child. She opened an actors' studio, 2nd Story, following in her mother's footsteps.
