Biography
will.i.am, born William James Adams Jr. on 15 March 1975 in Los Angeles, California, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, producer and actor. He came to prominence in the 1990s as a founding member of the hip hop group The Black Eyed Peas.
As an actor he has appeared in live-action and provided voice performances in several films. He voiced Pedro, a red-crested cardinal, in the animated features Rio (2011) and Rio 2 (2014). Other credits include Moto Moto in Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (2008), John Wraith in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) and a role in Be Cool (2005).
