Biography
Will McCormack is an American actor, screenwriter and producer. Born on 13 January 1974 in Plainfield, New Jersey, he graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. He began his career with stage work, including Off-Broadway productions, and appeared in television series such as The Sopranos (1999–2001) as Jason La Penna and The Office (2013) as Wolf.
McCormack has acted in films including Elf (2003), Prime (2005) and A Wrinkle in Time (2018). He co-wrote the screenplay for Celeste & Jesse Forever (2012) with Rashida Jones and contributed the story for Toy Story 4 (2019). With Jones, he wrote the screenplay for The Invite (2026), directed by Olivia Wilde. He directed and wrote the short film If Anything Happens I Love You (2020), which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.
He has two sisters: actress Mary McCormack and Michigan Supreme Court Justice Bridget Mary McCormack. He trained in acting and dance at the Amakhosi Theatre in Zimbabwe.
